What does the Trump Administration think of VDare?

While VDare touts having been “featured at the 2016 Republican National Convention” (which showed a post on a video screen from VDare), the Trump Administration has repeatedly distanced itself from Brimelow and VDare.

Brimelow was disavowed by chief economic advisor Larry Kudlow in 2018: “I’m very sad and troubled to learn he has gone in that direction,” and, regarding Brimelow’s views on race and immigration:  “a side of Peter that I don’t know, and I totally, utterly disagree with that point of view and have my whole life.  I’m a civil rights Republican.”

Also in 2018, a White House speechwriter, Darren Beattie, was fired after merely speaking at a conference alongside Brimelow.

Finally, use of VDare blog posts by a contractor was rejected by the Executive Office for Immigration Review of the U.S. Department of Justice, after complaints that the post was anti-Semitic.
